Roof repairs after possum removal: how the job runs

Repairs only hold if the roof is empty when they are finished. So the visit starts with removal: every smaller gap is closed, a one way door goes over the main entry, and the possum leaves on its own after dark.
While the door is working we repair everything else we photographed, from a cracked tile above the laundry to a softened barge board at the gable. On the return visit the door comes off and the last opening is fixed with the same materials as the rest of the roof.
A brushtail can fit through a gap about 7 cm wide, roughly the width of a tennis ball, so we treat small openings as seriously as obvious holes.
